I recently called regarding a used auto I was in the process of purchasing. They alerted me to an issue that vehicle might have had and how to deal with its potentially negative impact. The scenario played out and I was able to successfully return the auto. Thank you Shane.

Had the car in for routine maintenance a couple of times now and been happy with their thorough service and clear communication each time. Got our differential serviced this time around and didn't have much flexibility in my schedule that day and they were able to prioritize the work and get it done super quickly in the morning which was a tremendous help - thank you!

From the first phone call to current time/date, the folks, especially Sean--who took the time for the inception phone call all the way through to completion of repair, were fantastic! From my experience (as well as a few other people I know) coming across a knowledgeable and ethical shop is something special--heck, it is why a friend of mine referred Swedish Automotive.

In summary, I was impressed by the thoroughness of their work, and also by their integrity. I took my car to Swedish Automotive to get some work done that was recommended by the dealer. They are two blocks away from my house, whereas the dealer is approx 10 miles away, so it was convenient. I needed to get the AC fixed, and the dealer had recommended front control arm bushings replacement. Swedish Automotive looked for symptoms of bushing deterioration using both a road test (should hear a clunk from the front end) and by putting the car on a lift and doing an inspection. No problems were found, so they did not proceed with the unnecessary maintenance that I had naively requested. So thank you for that. The AC work was similarly thorough. They didn't just do a refrigerant replacement. Instead they tested the control of the AC system. They found an intermittent compressor control relay, replaced it, and to be thorough, they leak tested the system overnight. Now the AC is back to being its chilly self, just in time for 90F weather. When I picked up the car, there was a thank you card, complete with a Swedish Fish candy attached. Nice touch! Swedish Automotive will get all of my future Subaru maintenance.

I've been taking my Volvos to Swedish Automotive for over 20 years because the team there is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly. They do a great job explaining the work and their pricing is really reasonable. They've been great at helping me maintain my cars and when I have something that comes up unexpectedly. Its such a relief to a trusted mechanic!

These folks took advantage of my 80 year old mother and told her she needed several thousand dollars in repairs and charged her one thousand just to look at her vehicle, no services provided. We took it for a second option and their assessment was completely different and much more affordable. Beware of this place if you are a woman or an elder- they will take advantage of you!!

They are conveniently located in west Seattle and their prices were reasonable vs brand dealerships for Mercedes. I will likely switch over to them in the future vs going to merc service center.
