I got my car serviced here in March of last year and I refrained from leaving a review then but honestly my experience still makes me mad to this day. We took in our Mercedes SUV for a Service A and we ended up spending around $3k to do some replacements. Overall, they had bad communication skills — initially they fear mongered us about our tires saying they were 15-20 years old when the car is literally from 2017 and we bought it from the dealership. We were super surprised by this and asked how that made any sense, but instead of being like “I’m not sure, we should double check that” he said “there are shady people out there…” and in the end, it was a mistake! But he still took the opportunity to fear monger us about the state of our tires and made us super nervous about driving to Bend that weekend. We drove to Bend on our existing tires and it was fine and got them replaced elsewhere when we returned. They also recommended we do a bunch of other work - we chose to do some but not others. One of the recommended replacements was windshield wipers which are not expensive and was going to cost a few hundred dollars to do through them, so understandably I wanted to do my own research on what to get and install them myself to save the money. I asked them to service the other parts of the car but to wait on the windshield wipers and to call me before installing. No call. Lo and behold when we went to pick up our car, they had replaced the windshield wipers without asking. Very unprofessional. And on top of that, the service agent made a comment to me mid-discussion about how I looked different from last time. I was wearing glasses but it just felt unnecessary and inappropriate given the situation… Finally after all services were finished, we get our car back and the check engine light comes on. I call them because that seems counterintuitive and I ask “is this normal?” And the only response given is yes. No explanation. I have to ask “why is this normal?” And he says it’s fine to drive as long as it’s not flashing. One year later it’s still on, I take it to a new repair shop and they need to charge me $185 to run diagnostics on the check engine light. 🫠 Swedish automotive: the gift that keeps on giving… never coming back here needless to say
