Brought in a 20 year old car that had a few issues to fix. When I was given the quote that seemed to be higher than the car's value, I asked if they thought it was worth fixing or time to sell. I was spoken to in a condescending tone by the manager. He was rude and acted like I hadn't been taking care of the car. They included things on their "need to fix" list that I had taken care of, but they still said failed. For example, I had just replaced the windshield wipers on my own. Their list said "failed" because they hadn't done the update. Shows me they aren't really reviewing previous issues, but just keeping them on the list. The quote for the 2 jobs was almost $2,500. The actual parts were only $200. All the rest was for labor. I went to a friend's mechanic and the quote for the same work was a little over $700. They also did a free diagnostic, that Swedish charged me $200 for. I guess I should be glad Swedish Automotive was so rude or I probably would have had the over priced work done with them.
