I have a Subaru that I took to a Subaru dealership in Ballard for a free general inspection, to see if my car, which had no damage or leaks, needed any maintenance perhaps, and if the repair it might need would be cheaper. Big mistake! As I left that place on Ballard and arrived in my neighborhood, my Subaru started smoking and leaking all its transmission fluid. I called several places, and they were all busy, had no experience with Subarus, were extremely expensive, or couldn't help me until I contacted Swedish Automotive. They immediately told me I could bring my Subaru, that they would be ready to speak with the tow truck driver upon arrival, and that they would have a place ready to receive it. I assure you, I could finally breathe a sigh of relief amidst the anguish and worry, knowing my car was in good hands. The tow truck driver arrived, and indeed, the space was reserved for my car. Taylor greeted us, very kindly and patiently listening to everything that had happened. He reassured us, saying they would take care of it as soon as possible and would send us an email and a text message explaining what had happened so I could decide if I wanted to proceed and authorize the arrangements. And indeed it was, I received the message and the email, I authorized the arrangements and my car was ready on Monday. I am truly and infinitely grateful to Taylor for her patience and understanding in helping us when I was so upset by everything that was happening, at a time when I saw no solution. And thank you to Todd, the owner of Swedish Automotive, for having such an excellent team. Excellent professionals. Great team of people .Thank you so much.👍😃

Found the Swedes to be very professional and courteous. Diagnosed and fixed the one l leak on our 25 year old 9-3. Also disabled our alarm system which has been going off for no reason a lot lately. It's never certain we won't cross the point where the car will cost more to fix than it's worth. The Swedes were very cognizant of this and worked with us to keep the bill low. I tried to give 5 stars but on my phone it would only go up to 4.

I know that when I leave my Volvo with the team at Swedish Automotive it will be well taken care of. I'm in along term relationship with my car and SA makes sure that relationship is going to last.

Great shop with upfront pricing and clean and friendly atmosphere. They were very comparing with my crazy schedule. Will be going there from now on!

I brought my car in for a strange noise and had an excellent experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, transparent about the costs, and kept me updated throughout the process. They fixed the problem and also took care of some routine maintenance in a very timely manner. It’s rare to find a shop that combines such high-quality technical work with great customer service. I also appreciated the handwritten thank you card, and Swedish fish treat waiting for me on my dash when I went to pick my car up! I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future repairs.
